Abstract

The awning has arms on opposite sides, hinging at one end on a bracket fixed to a building wall, and supporting at the other a profiled section to which one end of the awning cloth is secured, the other winding onto a roller. A tension spring acts on each arm. The springs (9) are accommodated inside the arms (2), being secured at one end to the arms and at the other to the bracket (3), so as to exert a downwards force on them in all positions of the awning.
