Abstract

A U-section (1) of resilient plastic grips the edge of the curtain (3). The edge is wrapped around a cord (4) to form a roll (2) which is then slid endwise into the U section (1). The U-section (1) is in turn slid into the box section (7) with the arms of the U section projecting through the longitudinal slot (8). Hooks (10) fixed to the box section (7) are used to hang the curtain (3) from rollers (12) which run inside the hollow rail (13). A similar arrangement at the lower end of the curtain uses a box section (14) to support a second box section (17) carrying a weight in the form of a rod to keep the curtain under tension. The system can be used to support blinds or flexible panels.
