Abstract

The screen comprises a bendable, cloth-type material, e.g. heavy canvas which is divided into horizontal parts by horizontal, U-shaped, battens, in which are inserted longitudinal support units for fitment of the battens to the cloth. The canvas is folded around the longitudinal units, and the uppermost part is suspended in a rail. The lowest part is attached with one or more bands of cord to the raising and lowering installation in the upper rail. The horizontal parts comprise separate material strips (9) of cloth-type material, of which the edges adjoining each other are fitted separately from each other in the bendable battens (10).
