Abstract

The spacer unit is for use between parallel shuttering panels for a concrete wall, having an expandable metal bar for concreting into the wall and onto which two end bar sections screw. Each of the latter sections has a swivel nut supporting structure of the shuttering. It has a rigid detachable spacer piece (14) which, when end section (13) and central bar (11) are screwed together, bears against the end face of the bar. When the swivel nut is tightened up, it bears at the other end against a fixed stop on the supporting structure of the shuttering.
