Abstract

The machine is particularly for artificial manure in granular and/or powder form and has a chassis with a storage hopper and two or more spreader units rotating on vertical axes. Each unit is so connected to its respective hopper outlet, and is so driven that it distributes the material over the same strip of soil as the machine moves forward. The two units can be at the same height and close together, and mounted on a line between the axles of the machine, typically halfway between. They can be driven in opposite directions from the tractor power take-off, being each coupled to a further spreader unit mounted between the machine front wheels, and to which the PTO is coupled.
