Abstract

The tank (1) is intended for storing pressurised liquefied petroleum gas in a motor vehicle. It is shaped to have the approximate form and dimensions of a space wheel with tyre so that it can be fitted in the spare wheel well (16) of the vehicle. The tank may have a toroid shape with central bush (5) with bore (6) to receive a fixing bolt (7). It may consist of two convex shells (2, 3) joined by external circumferential weld (4). It may have a central bush (5) fixed by welding, and have a plate (8) for connections fitted in the side wall.
