Abstract

Telescopic, sprung, rotatable support device, partic. for use of the seat of a rotating chair, comprises a tubular foot piece inside which is an inner pipe which can be moved up and down. The inner pipe can be connected, via a cam movable radially, at different heights with a component (18) which has a vertical row of holes (19). This component rests on the bottom of the foot via tensioned spring. This component is located inside the movable inner pipe (4). The pipe has at its top end a lifting lever (12), and the cam (17) is carried by the under end of the lifting lever and pressed in the direction of the holes by a spring acting on the lever. The top end of the lifting lever is equipped with or can work in conjunction with a hand grip (16).
