Abstract

The fluid discharge fitting is typically for water and functions as a mixing device, being preferably controlled radio electronically. It has two solenoid valves, typically for hot and cold water, the length of the opening and closing strokes being adjustable by the electronic control. The solenoid valves (5, 6) also have knobs (7, 8) rotated by hand to adjust the cross-section of the passages through them. The electronic control system can be accommodated with its aerial, which also acts as a proximity switch (4), in the base of the fitting. The solenoid valves can be of the diaphragm type.
