Abstract

The combine harvester is partic. for peas, broad and French beans and similar crops, having a chassis on travel wheels on which a mechanism for processing the crop is mounted, either threshing or cleaning it. The mechanism is adjustable about hinge axes both in the lengthwise and transverse directions of the machine. The front axle can be adjustable about an axis running in the lengthwise direction of the machine by means of rams on either side. The rear axle can be fixed to a frame extending forwards from it, and hinging on the chassis near the front axle under the action of a ram between it and the chassis.
