Abstract

The equipment is for the removal of smoke, gas, dust etc., from a particular point, the tube having a suction or blast nozzle at one end, while the other is connected to a control unit with a mechanism causing air or gas to flow through a tube. The nozzle is supported by a bar-shaped distance piece, and is equipped with a drive mechanism moving it along this distance piece. The drive mechanism is coupled to a motor in the control unit via a flexible shaft running through the tube. A control can be mounted on the nozzle for the motor. The distance piece can be gripped between spring-loaded wheels and a wheel on a fixed mounting coupled to the drive mechanism.
