Abstract

Hollow metallic drive-in pipe system for use as an earth electrode which is connected to the outside of the section which is driven into the ground. The tube (1) has a metallic drive pin (3) on the end (6) remote from the driven head (5). The drive pin fits into the open end of the tube and is held in position by a clamp (4). This pin is used to engage another tube in order to extend the length of the electrode. The inserted pin is made from a solid material which extends to a certain depth inside of the two tubes.
