Abstract

The clamp (1) has a U-shaped portion (2) which is deformed elastically to provide a firm grip in the bore of the tube (7). The other end (3) of the clamp is circular and grips the second tube (6) so that it is held at right angles to the first tube (7). Two lugs (4, 5) are provided which can be forced apart to permit entry of the tube (3) in any required position. A variation of the design is provided with projecting tags on the sides of the U-shaped portion (2). These tags have sharp ends which bite into the wall of the tube (7) to provide a more secure grip.
