Abstract

The frame has a groove in which a pane is supported, this being held in place by strips screwed to the frame, while sealing material is provided between the pane, groove walls and strips. The groove walls (3) at right angles to the pane surface (2) are composed each of a first section accommodating the pane itself (3) and a second one (3') offset from the first and further from the edge of the pane. The strips (4) extend as far as the second section. The screws are inserted in the strips from the side furthest from the pane (5), and screw into the frame at the walls (7) joining the first and second sections to each other, and which run parallel to the pane surface.
