Abstract

The door leaf edge seal comprises a strip of rubber or similar material of curved cross-section with beads running along the edges, and a profiled mounting section in one or two parts. The latter has slots into which the beads are slid in the lengthwise direction, and in the other grooves by which it fits over the door leaf edges. The mounting section (7, 7') and its fixing devices (8, 8') are designed to allow adjustment of the width of the former, to suit the thickness of the door leaf. Typically the devices can be designed to thrust the inner flanges (7') of the section apart, against the inside faces of the flanges (10) on the door leaf.
