Abstract

a. Garniture pour chants de vantaux. b. Elle est constituée d'une bande à section transversale courbée, qui a une élasticité de caoutchouc et des bourrelets longitudinaux de bordure, et d'un profilé de montage simple ou en deux parties qui comporte un corps dont, près de ses deux bords longitudinaux, l'un des côtés présente deux rainures longitudinales parallèles destinées à recevoir les bourrelets qui peuvent y être engagés par glissement en direction longitudinale, et l'autre côté présente des éléments de profil longitudinaux formant des rainures embrassant le chant libre d'une porte de métal ou de bois, des moyens étant prévus qui coopèrent avec le profilé de montage pour fixer celui-ci sur le chant de la porte. Le profilé de montage et les moyens de fixation sont exécutés de telle manière qu'en fixant le profilé de montage à la porte, on puisse effectuer une certaine adaptation à la largeur du chant libre de la porte, telle que mesurée transversalement au vantail. c. Amélioration de l'étanchéité sonore, thermique et aux courants d'air des portes et fenêtres.
