Abstract

The mechanism is for use with a press compressing together foils stacked on top of each other, and has a magazine moving up and down with compartments one above the other for the foils to be stacked together. An extractor moves in and out of the compartment at the desired height, delivering the foils onto a support moving to and fro between a loading station and the press. The extractor can be equipped with a number of mouthpieces in which a vacuum is generated, and it can move up and down as well as to and fro in the horizontal direction. The magazine can be equipped with devices working in conjunction with valves opening and shutting off the suction mouthpieces.
