Abstract

The stacker receives printed circuit boards from a machine. It comprises a base (4) with uprights (5) and a table (7) on rollers (6) in vertical guides. Movement is imparted by a hydropneumatic cylinder (9) underneath the table, connected through solenoid valves (12) to two photoelectric cells (13, 15) in the plane of table movement. The table starts at the discharge height from the machine and, as the boards (2) move onto it, the cells are obscured. The upper (13) operates the cylinder to lower the table until it is again illuminated. The second cell (15) is lower and obscured until the stack is removed, it then returns the table.
