Abstract

The container consists of a load compartment of cardboard or similar material, made from a blank comprising five panels joined along fold lines. In the unfolded state one or more metal right-angle reinforcing fasteners are mounted between the sides at right angles to the fold lines, and the end panel has means for securing two adjacent compartments together. Each fastener is of round wire, placed against the end panel on the inside. A strip of material is cut free from the end panel along three sides, while the fourth remains flexibly attached to the panel along a fold line. A narrower strip is cut free along the opposite fold line along three sides, the fourth side having a fold line parallel to that of the first strip.
