Abstract

Pneumatic servomechanism cylinder and piston mechanism is filled with rapid deaeration valves which are incorporated at the work cylinder and are situated in the immediate vicinity of the corresponding cylinder chamber. The work cylinder has a cylindrical body and has two caps fixed to the body. The rapdi deaeration valves are fitted in the caps. The piston slides in an inner sleeve in the cylinder and this sleeve is free to float lengthwise in the bore of the cylinder. If the axis of the cylinder lies horizontally the two deaeration valves lie above the axis of the cylinder.
