[Also in Division F1] A double-acting hydraulic or pneumatic operated spring- biased piston 26 for rocking an axial drive-shaft 36 is held against rotation within its cylinder 24 by abutment of a flat 49 of a bifurcated guide yoke 14 secured to the cylinder endplate 10 against a flat on the central portion 50 of the piston 26, which is formed with an axial recess having an internally threaded metal or plastics insert 34 engaged by the drive-shaft 36 which extends through the opposite end-plate 20 of the cylinder; the biasing spring 60 being located within the cylinder and serving to return the piston 26 and hence the drive-shaft 36 to a predetermined position, e.g. against end-plate 20 in the event of loss of fluid pressure. The fixed guide yoke 14 which is angularly adjustable carries a longitudinally adjustable bolt 56 which limits the piston stroke towards endplate 10.
