Abstract

The safety partition especially for a window is designed for security purposes in a brank or post office. It comprises a counter (1) with a top shelf (2). Perpendicular to the shelf is a wall (3) in which are several openings (4). Each opening is provided with a sliding closure plate (5) of bullet proof glass. The system enables the safety plate to be rapidly brought into the closed position by the person behind the counter. The top of the partition carries a broad cover plate which provides a smooth contact and enables it to be moved upwards from either side.
