Abstract

A number of compartments are arranged along the side of a conveyor track, and each has a stripper member forming part of it. It slides between a retracted position clear of the conveyor, and one in which the member extends into the path of the latter, so as to direct a sheet travelling along it into the compartment. Each compartment can travel on wheels in a track formed in the adjacent compartment, and each can be attached to the frame by an intermediate linkage. The compartments can be arranged horizontally in sets on opposite sides of a conveyor with ascending and descending runs, and two horizontal runs.
