1,077,727. Mineral-mining installations. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. Aug. 20, 1965 [Sept. 22, 1964], No. 35799/65. Heading E1F. In a longwall, mineral-mining installation in which two machines are simultaneously operative on the face when movable along a face conveyer with parts of the machines being guided by a common surface of the conveyer one of said parts can be deflected by the other part to pass over said parts when the machines pass each other when moving along the conveyer. The deflectable part by which one of the machines engages the conveyer may be an endless track, deflectable spring loaded wheels or a deflectable plate.
