Abstract

Powder separator comprising a cylindrical housing, a separating rotor having a rotating disc-shaped part with a central inlet port, a rotating conical part with its base surface facing the coaxially arranged disc-shaped part, a first group of rotating vanes installed between the disc-shaped part and the base surface of the conical part, and a second group of rotating vanes arranged radially on the conical surface of the conical part, with means for supplying the powder to be separated together with a stream of air to the inlet port of the rotating disc-shaped part.
