Description

P1354 /NL
PARENT SOIL COLLECTING INSTRUMENT CAPABLE OF MAINTAINING ROCT SOIL
COMPOSITE STRUCTURE SYSTEM INTEGRITY
TECHNICAL FIELD
The disclosure relates to the technical field of parent soil collection, in particular to a parent soil collecting instrument capable of maintaining root soil composite structure system integ- rity.
BACKGROUND ART
Soil erosion refers to the whole process that soil, soil mass or other ground components are damaged, corroded, carried and de- posited under the effects of rainfall, runoff and wind blowout on soil. Environmental problems such as water and soil loss and land productivity degradation caused by soil erosion are one of global problems urgently needed to be solved by the current international community, especially an abundant and coarse sediment area of the
Yellow River basin in China has sparse natural vegetation and de- ficient rainfall, the rainfall is mainly in the form of rain- storms, and land degradation caused by soil erosion seriously af- fects sustainable development of local husbandry and social and economic stability. Research on the soil erosion mechanism is al- ways a core problem of water and sediment regulation and control and ecological environment restoration of the abundant and coarse sediment area of the Yellow River, and is also the premise of sci- entifically deciding an artificial vegetation allocation plan.
Carrying out a soil erosion experiment is the basis of carrying out erosion process monitoring, verifying and revising an erosion model, evaluating erosion intensity and hazards, evaluating ef- fects of erosion control measures and other work by collecting vegetable-soil-root system composite structures.
Parent soil refers to a soil sample reserving a soil original structure in the sampling process and plays an important role in carrying out the soil erosion experiment, a soil granulation ex- periment, soil nutrient analysis, etc. A soil sampling instrument refers to a tool for obtaining soil samples. A soil auger, a spade and a shovel are commonly used, as for a soil sampler in the prior art, its tool bit is mostly in a drill shape, collected soil sam- ples are mostly in a loose and broken state, the soil sampler is mainly used for collecting deep soil samples, a sampling method is mainly as follows: rotating a handle by manual or mechanical power to damage the soil structure in a rotary drill-through manner, but root systems may be dragged so that the original structure of the soil can be damaged if they are not immediately cut off while the root systems in soil are cut due to the rotating manner; and on the other hand, although an existing soil sampling instrument on the market has been widely used for soil analytical sampling and soil test sampling work, for example, through retrieval, a Chinese patent number CN101750234 A discloses a handheld parent soil col- umn collecting instrument, which comprises a drill cylinder, a base, a connecting seat and a drill rod, the connecting seat and the base are mounted at the two ends of the drill cylinder respec- tively, and the drill rod is connected with the connecting seat.
However, requirements of part of tests on the root system structure in the parent soil are high, vegetation-surface soil- root system original structures need to be simultaneously re- served, a traditional rotary cylindrical soil sampling instrument cannot meet the above requirements, and thus the disclosure pro- vides a parent soil collecting instrument capable of maintaining root soil composite structure system integrity.
