Description

ANTIBIOTIC - FREE FEED FOR IMPROVING PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE OF WEANED
PIGLETS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the technical field of piglet feed, and particularly relates to an antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets.
Background
Piglets are little pigs. Newly barn little pigs up to pigs that grow to about 30 kg are all called the piglets. Physiological characteristics of the piglets are as follows: the piglets are not resistant to low temperature; digestive functions are imperfect, growth and development are rapid; and innate immunity is lacked. Due to dysfunctional digestive tracts, insufficient gastric acid secretion, variable gastrointestinal microbiota, insufficient digestive enzyme secretion and protein indigestion, an osmotic pressure of intestinal content is easily increased; and diarrhoea is caused by intestinal dehydration. Particularly, to increase economic benefits, most of the piglets are weaned at an earlier stage during large - scale breeding. The problems of growth and development retardation and death caused by diarrhoea initiated by weaning stress are more distinct, thereby bringing enormous losses to the breeding industry.
In actual production, generally antibiotics are added into daily rations of the piglets to relieve the weaning stress and help the piglets to cross difficult barriers. However, due to wide use and overuse of the antibiotics, severe hazards are brought to human and animal health. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has posted the No. 194 announcement. Since July 1, 2020, feed manufacturers have stopped producing commercial feed containing growth - promoting drug feed additives. Therefore, researching antibiotic - free feed applied to weaned piglets is a current problem that urgently needs to be solved in the industry.
Because of incomplete intestinal function development of the piglets and influence of the weaning stress, the following factors should be considered during preparation of the antibiotic - free feed for the piglets: (1) The feed is complete and balanced in nutrition; corresponding nutritional ingredients are different; digestibility coefficients are also different; and scientific formulation and careful preparation are needed. (2) The feed is suitable for digestion and nutrient absorption; decrease of anti - nutritional factors and allergic factors and increase of feed digestibility are the key to increase the feed intake of the piglets; and only after digestive absorption and re - deposition, the feed has excellent performance. (3) The feed is excellent in palatability; and if the piglets like eating, the feed intake can be increased, and excellent daily gain indexes may be achieved. (4) Weaning stress response is decreased. The weaning stress is one of the most important reasons that cause weight loss of the piglets after weaning. Growth retardation of the piglets is even caused. Thus, the feed formula should be adjusted and optimized; the stress response is decreased; normal growth rates of the pigs need to be restored as fast as possible; and weaning stress losses are made up. (5) Diarrhoea incidence and incidence of other diseases are decreased to the utmost extent. Once trophic diarrhoea occurs, in addition to proteins, electrolyte, vitamins, amino acid and other nutrition are lost with “diarrhoea”. Partial nutrient substances in indigestive feed will enter the large intestine after passing through small intestines and then become a good medium of bacteria in the large intestine, thereby causing rapid bacterial reproduction in the large intestine, which is the main reason that causes diarrhoea of the piglets. Therefore, preparing the antibiotic - free feed for the piglets is a complicated job with high technical content.
Therefore, how to develop an antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets is a problem that urgently needs to be solved by those skilled in the art.
Summary
Based on intestinal characteristics and nutritional requirements of weaned piglets and decrease of weaning stress response, the present invention provides an antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets. The antibiotic - free feed provided by the present invention is high in nutritive value, and can improve intestinal health levels of the weaned piglets, increase feed intake and daily gain of the weaned piglets, decrease diarrhoea rates and death rates of the weaned piglets and increase economic benefits during breeding.
Specific technical solutions of the present invention are as follows:
The antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30 - 40 parts of corn, 6 - 10 parts of extruded corn, 6 - 10 parts of extruded soybean, 6 - 10 parts of proteolytic soybean meal, 5 - 9 parts of fried wheat bran, 1 - 3 parts of fish meal, 1 - 3 parts of bone meal, 1 - 3 parts of shell powder, 1-5 parts of whey protein concentrate, 10 - 20 parts of whey powder, 1 - 5 parts of yeast extract, 3 - 6 parts of a traditional Chinese medicine composition, 1 - 5 parts of peanut oil, 1 - 3 parts of sucrose, 0.1 - 0.4 part of salt, 0.4 - 1.0 part of calcium formate, 0.10 - 1.00 part of lysine hydrochloride, 0.01 - 0.20 part of methionine, 0.01 - 0.40 part of threonine, 0.05 - 0.18 part of ethoxyquinoline, 0.10 - 0.30 part of choline chloride and 1 part of premix.
The antibiotic - free feed in the present invention has advantages as follows: 1. Selection of the raw materials: the corn+ the extruded corn and the extruded soybean+ the proteolytic soybean meal+ the fried wheat bran are adopted; and the raw materials are mainly based on the palatability of the piglets on the feed as well as later feeding and raw material cost. 2. Types and formula ratios of the proteins and amino acids are optimized according to an “ideal amino acid pattern”; and the fish meal, bone meal, shell powder, whey protein concentrate, whey powder, lysine hydrochloride, methionine and threonine are selected. 3. According to the intestinal characteristics of the piglets, an appropriate amount of fibres is added; and meanwhile, vitamins, complex minerals, acidifying agents and complex enzymes are optimized in the premix.
4. In combination with the weaning stress generation and effect mechanisms, flavonoid extracts are added into the premix, thereby decreasing the weaning stress effect.
Further, the traditional Chinese medicine composition includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1 - 2 parts of Eleocharis dulcis, 1 - 2 parts of Origanum vulgare and 1 - 2 parts of Rhizoma zingibens.
Beneficial effects of the above further technical solution are as follows: the Eleocharis dulcis is sweet and crispy in taste and rich in nutrition, contains proteins, fat, crude fibres, carotene, vitamin B, vitamin C, iron, calcium, phosphorus and carbohydrates, and has effects of clearing heat and quenching thirst, removing dampness by dieresis and reducing phlegm and lowering blood pressure. The Origanum vulgare is acrid in taste, cool in nature and non - toxic, may be used as a medicine with the whole herb, and has effects of clearing heat and relieving exterior syndrome, regulating vital energy and resolving dampness and inducing dieresis and reducing swelling. The Rhizoma zingiberis has effects of relieving exterior syndrome, dispelling cold, arresting vomiting, reducing phlegm and treating ulcerative carbuncle.
Further, the premix includes the complex vitamins, complex minerals, acidifying agents, complex enzymes and flavonoid extracts according to a weight ratio of 0.06:0.28:0.4:0.2:0.06.
Further, the complex vitamins in the premix per gram include 50000IU of VA, 20000IU of VD3, 10000IU of VE, 10 mg of VK3, 5 mg of VB, 25 mg of VB, 60 mg of VBs, 80ug of VB:2, 50 mg of calcium pantothenate, 100 mg of nicotinic acid and 30 mg of folic acid.
Further, the complex minerals per gram include 60 mg of copper sulphate pentahydrate, 150 mg of ferrous sulphate monohydrate, 60 mg of zinc oxide, 60 mg of manganese sulphate monohydrate, 20 mg of sodium selenite, 15 mg of calcium iodate and 2 mg of cobaltous sulphate monohydrate.
Further, the acidifying agents include citric acid and fumaric acid according to a weight ratio of 1:1.
Further, the complex enzymes include 10 - 90% of protease, 10 - 90% of amylase and 0.01 - 0.05% of high - temperature - resistant phytase.
Further, the flavonoid extract includes 4,7 - dihydroxylisoflavone and 45,7 - trinydroxyisoflavone according to a weight ratio of 1: 1.
A preparation method of the above antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets specifically includes the following steps: (1) weighing various raw materials according to weight parts of the above antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets; (2) uniformly mixing the lysine hydrochloride, the methionine, the threonine, the ethoxyquinoline, the choline chloride, the sucrose and the salt; and then adding the premix to be uniformly mixed to obtain a mixture;
(3) performing superfine grinding on the corn, the extruded corn, the extruded soybean, the proteolytic soybean meal, the fried wheat bran, the fish meal, the bone meal, the shell powder and the traditional Chinese medicine composition to obtain ground materials; (4) uniformly mixing the mixture, the ground materials, the whey protein concentrate, whey powder, yeast extract, peanut oil and calcium formate to obtain a semi - finished product; and (5) granulating and cooling the semi - finished product, thereby obtaining the antibiotic - free feed for improving production performance of weaned piglets.
Further, in the step (2), a mesh size of a superfine grinding screen is 0.8 - 1.0 mm; and in the step (5), during granulation, steam pressure is 0.3 - 0.4 Mpa, temperature is 65 - 75°C, and a mesh size of a circular film is 2.0 mm.
Through the above technical solutions, compared with the prior art, the present invention at least has beneficial effects as follows: 1. With the adoption of the “ideal amino acid pattern”, essential amino - acids lacking in the raw materials of the feed are supplemented; amino acid balanced feedstuffs are prepared; and supply of various essential amino - acids is ensured to meet the nutritional requirements of the piglets, thereby ensuring rapid growth and lipoprotein storage abilities of the piglets. 2. Based on the physiological features of the weaned piglets, larger raw materials are pre- treated; and the extruded corn and the extruded soybean with high digestibility and excellent palatability for the piglets are added; and thus, the growth of the piglets is well promoted while increasing the palatability. 3. The yeast extract is added; and researches show that, the yeast extract contains lots of amino acids, nucleotides and other substances, so that taste receptors can be stimulated to promote the feed intake, and intestinal cell growth and intestinal injury repair of young animals are facilitated. 4. The added dietary fibres can facilitate growth of beneficial microorganisms in hindguts of the piglets and effectively decrease fermentation of the proteins in the hindguts of the piglets, thereby decreasing diarrhoea occurrence of the weaned piglets, decreasing the death rates and well ensuring the rapid growth of the piglets. 5. Major components of the added flavonoid extract, such as 4,7 - dihydroxylisoflavone and 4,5,7 - trihydroxyisoflavone, are polyphenol substances. The components can be reacted with free radicals in vivo/vitro to produce corresponding ions and molecules, may inhibit production of the free radicals, remove and extinguish the free radicals and stop chain reactions of the free radicals, and can promote secretion of antioxidant enzymes and inhibit lipid peroxidation, thereby decreasing in - vivo oxidation reactions caused by the weaning stress of the weaned piglets. 6. The added fish meal, bone meal and shell powder contain lots of calcium and essential trace elements in piglet bodies, thereby enhancing digestive functions of the piglets. 7. The added traditional Chinese medicine composition such as the Eleocharis dulcis,
Origanum vulgare and Rhizoma zingiberis can increase disease resistance of the piglets.
In the present invention, according to the intestinal characteristics and weaning stress generation and effect mechanisms of the weaned piglets, a nutrition formula is optimized based on the most basic nutritional requirements. The prepared antibiotic - free feed is balanced in nutrition, high in palatability and easily digestible, and can significantly improve feed intake, 5 immunity and growth rates of the weaned piglets and decrease diarrhoea rates and death rates of the piglets, thereby improving the production performance of the weaned piglets.
