Abstract
Provided is a traverse coil of a copper or copper alloy sheet and a method for producing the same, which are difficult to generate metal powder due to friction with a tension pad. A copper or copper alloy sheet, the copper or copper alloy sheet comprising an oil having a dynamic viscosity of from 3 to 12 mm2/s applied to a surface of the copper or copper alloy sheet, wherein an amount of the oil is from 100 to 500 mg/m2.
