Abstract

It is possible to provide the absorbent article capable of suppressing the leakage to the rear in a state in which the wearer lies. An absorbent article (1) includes a first curved unit (41) extending in the width direction and a second curved unit (42) positioned at a rear side than the first curved unit and extending in the width direction are provided at a rear side than a center of the wing in the longitudinal direction, and at a front side than a rear end edge of the absorbent core. The absorbent article has a first region (R1) adjacent to the first curved unit at a front side of the first curved unit, a second region (R2) adjacent to the second curved unit at a rear side of the second curved unit, and an intermediate region (R3) positioned between the first curved unit and the second curved unit in the longitudinal direction. A basis weight of the absorbent material of the intermediate region is lower than a basis weight of the absorbent material of the first region, and is lower than a basis weight of the absorbent material of the second region. A length of the intermediate region in the longitudinal direction is longer than a thickness of the absorbent body in a part adjacent to the first curved unit of the first region.
