Abstract

An absorbent article (1) includes an absorbent material (12). The absorbent article (1) includes a pair of groove parts (20) that is provided to the absorbent material in a crotch part (1B) adapted to be arranged at at least a crotch of a wearer and that extends in a longitudinal direction; a pair of elastic parts (41) that is arranged at least a position overlapping the absorbent material (12) in a thickness direction at the crotch part and that extends in the longitudinal direction; a first absorbent material (121) that is included in the absorbent material (12) and that is provided with the groove parts (20); and a second absorbent material (122) that is included in the absorbent material (12), that includes a region (R) of imaginarily extensions of the groove parts (20), and that has a weight per unit area smaller than that of the first absorbent material (122).
