Abstract
An object is to further reduce a chance of carrying away of lubricating oil that is stored in an oil pan to an intake passage. An internal combustion engine includes a prevention wall. The prevention wall includes: a wall body (91) that is provided below an inlet opening of a blow-by gas recirculation passage communicating between an inner chamber in which blow-by gas is accumulated and an intake passage, the wall body suppressing entry of lubricating oil to the recirculation passage; a projected wall part (92) that is provided at a peripheral edge of the wall body and extends upward; and a notched part (93) that is provided by notching a base end side of the projected wall part fixed to the inner chamber and through which the blow-by gas flows.
