Abstract
There is disclosed a solar-powered controller system (1) adapted for maintaining water quality in the form of dissolved oxygen content in the body of water (16). Solar-powered controller system comprising at least one aerator means (24), at least a sensor (13) submerged in the body of water (16), at least one solar panel (11) being electrically connected to at least one battery (12), the battery (12) being electrically connected to at least one wireless embedded controller (14), the wireless embedded controller (14) being electrically connected to a Centralized Monitoring Station characteristic that solar panel (11), battery (12), and wireless embedded controller (14) are arranged on a floating platform (15) together with the sensor (13). Thereby, the floating platform (15) allowing free movement of the solar-powered controller system for an accurate water quality monitoring of the body of water (16). The present invention proposes a floating solar-powered controller system (1) for a more accurate and efficiency water quality monitoring and management in aquaculture applications.
