Abstract
An exhaust gas treatment device (1) includes a dust collector (3) into which exhaust gas (4) is introduced and that discharges a treated gas (9), a gas flow channel (5) through which the exhaust gas is introduced into the dust collector (3), a first HCl detecting unit (6) that detects an HCl concentration of the exhaust gas, a first SOx detecting unit (7) that detects an SOx concentration of the exhaust gas, an alkali supply unit (10) that supplies the gas flow channel with an alkaline agent including a Ca-based alkaline agent and/or an Na-based alkaline agent at a weight which is determined by a control command based on the control command, and a controller (8) that determines the weight of the alkaline agent and that sends out the control command. The controller (8) determines the weight based on an HCl/SOx ratio which is calculated from the HCl concentration detected by the first HCl detecting unit (6) and the SOx concentration detected by the first SOx detecting unit (7).
