THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A SUBMARINE THAT IS CAPABLE OF SURFACE OPERATION WITH ITS PASSENGER COMPARTMENT (1) COMPLETELY OR PREDOMINATELY ABOVE THE WATERLINE. THE VESSEL IS CAPABLE OF HIGH-SPEED, LONG-RANGE SURFACE NAVIGATION AND SEAKEEPING.
