Abstract
PROVIDED IS A REDUCTION AND CARBONIZATION SYSTEM THAT IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RECYCLED CHARCOAL OF HIGH ENERGY USING A WIDE VARIETY OF RAW MATERIALS. A CARBONIZATION APPARATUS THAT PERFORMS DRYING, THERMAL DECOMPOSITION, AND THERMAL STORAGE OF AN ORGANIC SUBSTANCE IN THE INSIDE OF A SINGLE KILN (2), THE APPARATUS INCLUDES: A ROTATABLE KILN (2) HAVING AN INLET PORT AND AN OUTLET PORT; A RAW MATERIAL FEEDING UNIT CONFIGURED TO INTRODUCE AN ORGANIC SUBSTANCE FROM THE INLET PORT INTO THE INSIDE OF THE KILN (2); AND A COMBUSTION CHAMBER (3) HAVING THE KILN (2) IN THE INTERNAL SPACE THEREOF AND CONFIGURED TO EXTERNALLY SUPPLY HEAT TO THE KILN (2). IN THE APPARATUS, AN ORGANIC SUBSTANCE HAVING A HIGH MOISTURE CONTENT HAS LONGER DWELL TIME IN THE INSIDE OF THE KILN (2) THAN THAT OF AN ORGANIC SUBSTANCE HAVING A LOW MOISTURE CONTENT. THE INNER CIRCUMFERENTIAL SURFACE OF THE KILN (2) IS PROVIDED WITH A HELICAL BLADE (1A) HELICALLY EXTENDED ALONG THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE KILN AND ONE OR MORE OF STIRRING BLADES (1B) EXTENDED INWARDS.
