Abstract
AN INVERTER AIR-CONDITIONER INCLUDES TWO CAPACITOR CIRCUIT (4, 5) COUPLED BETWEEN TWO OUTPUT TERMINALS OF RECTIFYING CIRCUIT 2, FIRST SWITCH (7) COUPLED BETWEEN A FIRST INPUT TERMINAL OF RECTIFYING CIRCUIT (2) AND ONE OF JUNCTION POINTS IN CAPACITOR CIRCUITS (4, 5), AND SECOND SWITCH (8) COUPLED BETWEEN A SECOND INPUT TERMINAL OF RECTIFYING CIRCUIT (2) AND THE JUNCTION POINT IN CAPACITOR CIRCUITS (4, 5). SWITCHING-OVER APPROPRIATELY FIRST AND SECOND SWITCHES (7, 8) ALLOWS A HIGH POWER FACTOR AND SUPPRESSION OF HARMONICS TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER, AND THE MAX. CAPACITY AND EFFICIENCY OF THE AIR-CONDITIONER TO INCREASE.(FIG 6)
