Abstract

Un sistema para distribuir senales de los servicios de comunicacion por satelite multiple separadas (DTV, DPC) a receptores en un sitio terrestre local en una linea de un solo cable. Una antena de satelite doble (131) recibe las senales provenientes de dos satelites separados (105a, b; 104), cada uno de los cuales puede corresponder a un servicio de comunicacion por satelite respectivo. Una sumadora (318) recibe las bandas de frecuencia adyacentes y las distribuye en una linea de un solo cable (308) hacia los receptores a fin de que los receptores tengan acceso a las senales del servicio de comunicacion por satelite multiple separadas en una linea de un solo cable. Un desmultiplexor (354) acoplado a las bandas de frecuencia adyacentes de la sumadora permite a la pluralidad de receptores en la salida de las lineas del desmultiplexor (358) obtener acceso simultaneo hacia ambos servicios de comunicacion por satelite distribuidos por la linea de un solo cable al receptor.
