Abstract

A fin de mejorar la resistencia a la oxidacion de un material compuesto del tipo de carbono/carbono, se forma una fase intermedia entre las fibras de carbono del refuerzo fibroso del material y la matriz de carbono, estando constituida esta fase intermedia por 1% a 20% en porcentaje atomico de silicio, al menos 30% en porcentaje atomico de boro y estando compuesto el resto eventualmente por carbono y/o fosforo el espesor de la fase intermedia es inferior a 1æ y es por lo menos igual a 10 nm.
