Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona un proceso para la preparacion de un compuesto de la formula I, en el cual un compuesto de la formula II en donde R es H u OR representa un grupo protector para un grupo hidroxi carboxilico, se hace reaccionar con un compuesto de la formula III C6H13X, en donde X es un grupo saliente, en presencia de una base en presencia de un disolvente inerte, a una temperatura en el rango de -25 a 150OC y, opcionalmente, cuando OR representa un grupo protector, remover el grupo protector.
