Abstract

Un variador de un tipo de traccion de rodamiento de pista toroidal tiene un disco de entrada montado en forma giratoria (18, 20) un disco de salida (22) montado en forma giratoria en posicion coaxial con el disco de entrada (18, 20), una pluralidad de rodillos (30, 32) que transmiten el movimiento de rotacion entre el disco de entrada y el disco de salida y una pluralidad de pistones de doble accionamiento (36, 38) cada uno de los cuales actua en base a un rodillo respectivo de los rodillos. El variador tambien tiene una pluralidad de palancas (44, 60) cada una de las cuales es conectada con un rodillo respectivo de los rodillos (30, 32) y su actuador asociado (36, 38). Mediante la conexion de los actuadores con los rodillos por medio de palancas puede ser conseguido un arreglo mucho mas compacto.
