Abstract

La presente invencion agrega soporte para la coincidencia a un lenguaje orientado en el objeto de corriente principal. Las extensiones de lenguaje se proporcionan de modo que hacen posible que los programas sean desarrollados y ellos pueden, ya sea ejecutarse en un espacio de direccion, ser distribuidos en varios procesos en una sola computadora, o distribuidos en una red de area local o de area amplia, sin volver a codificar el programa. Es central para este aspecto la nocion de un servicio, el cual puede ejecutar su propia cadena algoritmica (logica). Los servicios no comparten la memoria o se sincronizan utilizando primitivas explicitas de sincronizacion por medio del envio de mensajes, es decir, es enviado un conjunto de mensajes explicitamente declarados entre los servicios. Los mensajes pueden contener datos que son compartidos y el patron de intercambio de mensajes proporciona la sincronizacion necesaria.
