Abstract

Un trocar para realizar un procedimiento en un paciente; el trocar tiene una canula hueca con un extremo distal y un extremo proximal; el trocar tambien tiene un alojamiento con un extremo distal fijo al extremo proximal de la canula y un extremo proximal que tiene una pared fija al mismo; la pared tiene una abertura entre la misma; el trocar ademas incluye un ensamble de sello colocado dentro del alojamiento; el ensamble de sello incluye un primer anillo sustancialmente rigido, un segundo anillo sustancialmente rigido, y una pluralidad de elementos elastomericos estratificados comprimidos entre el mismo; el primer anillo tiene una pluralidad de protuberancias que se extienden distalmente que se extienden desde una superficie distal del mismo, y un segundo anillo que tiene una pluralidad de protuberancias que extiende en forma proximal extendiendose desde una superficie proximal del mismo.
