Abstract

En el campo del comercio, un metodo para transferir fondos utilizando una tarjeta de pago. Los sistemas de transferencia de fondos existentes presentan una cantidad de problemas que incluyen, por ejemplo, demoras prolongadas asociadas con su entrega, altos costos de procesamiento y altos costos administrativos. Para paliar estas dificultades, se proporciona un metodo para transferir fondos de un primer titular de tarjeta de pago a un segundo titular de tarjeta de que se requiere una transferencia de fondos al segundo titular de tarjeta; generar una primera transaccion con tarjeta de pago entre un primer comerciante y el primer titular de tarjeta por un monto negativo asociado con el valor de los fondos que se deben transferir; y generar una segunda transaccion con tarjeta de pago entre un segundo comerciante y el segundo titular de tarjeta por un monto positivo asociado con el valor de los fondos que se deben transferir. La ventaja que brinda esta disposicion es que, utilizando los sistemas de tarjeta de pago existentes, se pueden efectuar eficientemente transferencias de fondos entre titulares de tarjeta, sin demoras significativas.
