Abstract
Se describen productos de jugo de naranja mejorados y procesos para preparar los productos. Se incluye un polvo de mejora natural que se origina del flavedo de cascara de citrico tal como cascara de naranja o cascara de tangerina. El flavedo de cascara se lava con un solvente organico apropiado para uso en procesamiento de alimentos, se seca y reduce en tamano de particulas y se anade como un polvo al jugo de naranja a fin de mejorar el jugo, tal como elevar el Valor de Color del jugo de naranja, tipicamente por cuando menos 1 unidad de Indice OJ o mas. Mediante este acercamiento, el jugo de naranja que es Grado B en color se cambia en un jugo de naranja que llena los criterios de color de Grado A. otras mejoras de jugo tambien se realizan.
