Abstract
Los circuitos de distribucion de energia electrica par vehiculos de motor incorporan un elemento de conmutacion par controlar la activacion de los circuitos. Elementos de medicion de corriente asociados con cada elemento de conmutacion indican la corriente atraida por los circuitos electricos respectivos. El microcontrolador (48) implementa un algoritmo protector de circuito que toma como entradas la indicacion de corriente atraida por un circuito electrico particular y el ciclo de servicio. Se calcula una corriente de D.C. equivalente para determinar un indice e calor para un fusible hipotetico apropiado para proteger el circuito. Cuando el indice de calor excede la clasificacion par el fusible, el fusible se funde.
