Abstract

Se dan a conocer composiciones de adhesivos efectivas para unir hules a metales y que contienen no mas de aproximadamente 1000 partes de plomo, adaptadas especialmente para unir elastomeros vulcanizados a substratos rigidos, por ejemplo el metal. Los adhesivos son utiles en combinacion con recubrimientos de apresto, y como adhesivos de un recubrimiento y proporcionan enlaces de adhesivo primarios durables, resistentes al desgarre del hule, despues de exponer a condiciones severas. Los adhesivos exhiben una excelente versatilidad de union, resistencia al desalojo del hule, y tienen estabilidad durante el almacenamiento. En una modalidad, las composiciones de adhesivos de la presente invencion consisten esencialmente de menos de 1000 ppm de plomo, al menos un diluente, como el agua o un solvente organico, una formador de pelicula que contiene halogeno, opcionalmente, un compuesto nitroso, el diclorobutadieno bromado y/o promotores de la adhesion, y un depurador de acido que comprende el fosfato de zinc.
