Abstract
Se proporciona un montaje de junta universal que incluye una cruceta y un dispositivo de extremo que tiene centros rotacionales respectivos que se alinean coaxialmente con precision entre si para minimizar el desequilibrio rotacional. La cruceta tiene un par de munones que se extienden hacia afuera sobre los cuales se soportan giratoriamente los receptaculos de cojinete respectivos. Un manguito de control de separacion se coloca a presion alrededor de cada uno de los receptaculos de cojinete. Cada uno de los manguitos de control de separacion incluye una porcion de reborde que se extiende hacia afuera que se coloca con precision en relacion al centro rotacional de la cruceta. El dispositivo de extremo se fabrica con un par de superficies orientadas hacia adentro que se localizan con precision en relacion al centro rotacional del dispositivo de extremo. Cuando se ensambla la cruceta con el dispositivo de extremo, las porciones de reborde que se extienden hacia afuera de los manguitos de control de separacion hacen contacto con las superficies orientadas hacia adentro del dispositivo de extremo. Como un resultado, el centro de rotacion de la cruceta se alinea con precision con el centro de rotacion del dispositivo de extremo. Se proporciona un accesorio de instalacion para instalar los manguitos de control de separacion sobre los receptaculos de cojinete en las posiciones deseadas.
