Abstract

Se describe un metodo para preparar una sustancia objetivo en forma de particulas, que comprende introducir a un recipiente de formacion de particulas, a traves de primeros y segundos medios de entrada de fluido separados, respectivamente, (a) una "solucion/suspension objetivo" de la sustancia en un vehiculo fluido y (b) un antisolvente de fluido comprimido y permitir que el antisolvente extraiga el vehiculo para formar particulas de la sustancia, en donde el fluido antisolvente tiene una velocidad sonica, casi sonica o supersonica a medida que entra al recipiente y en donde el antisolvente y la solucion/suspension objetivo entran al recipiente en diferentes sitios y se encuentran corriente abajo (en la direccion del flujo del antisolvente) de los segundos medios de entrada del fluido. Tambien se proporciona un aparato para uso en tal metodo.
