Abstract

Se presenta como invencion una placa de enfriamiento (1, 101) para un horno de ejes provisto con un recubrimiento refractario. El horno comprende una primera parte de placa de enfriamiento laminada (2, 102) que esta orientada hacia el interior del horno (O1), una segunda parte de placa de enfriamiento trasera laminada (3, 103) que esta soldada a la primera parte, un canal de enfriamiento (7, 107) dispuesto entre la primera y la segunda parte de la placa de enfriamiento, y secciones tubulares (8, 9) para la entrada y salida del medio de enfriamiento. El objetivo de la invencion es mejorar la produccion, el flujo y las propiedades de enfriamiento. Con este objeto, la primera parte de la placa de enfriamiento (2, 102) esta hecha en forma de un bloque laminado que tiene un lado frontal plano (14) que apunta hacia el interior del horno (O1) y la superficie transversal del canal de enfriamiento es mayor en los extremos (18, 19; 118, 119) que en la zona central (20, 120) con relacion a la extension longitudinal. La invencion tambien reivindica un sistema de enfriamiento (33).
