Abstract

Se proporcionan un sistema y metodo para tratamiento aerobico de desechos, tal como desechos animales o humanos. El metodo incluye la introduccion continua de una especie/cepa particular de algas Chlorella en el sitio de desechos. Las altas cantidades de oxigeno producidas por las microalgas satisfacen la demanda de oxigeno bioquimico en el proceso de tratamiento y tambien permiten la oxidacion de contaminantes indeseables. El suministro de las microalgas a una velocidad deseada se logra mediante la incorporacion de una serie de dispositivos electricos y mecanicos alojados dentro de una estructura tipo invernadero, la cual optimizar las condiciones de crecimiento para las microalgas y tambien permite que el sistema sea automatizado.
