Abstract
Se describe un metodo para superar el efecto visual adverso de los planos de tinta con registro defectuoso, en impresiones a color de tintas multiples; las separaciones de los colores se hacen inicialmente en forma normal; la separacion que posee el mayor detalle del objeto se selecciona entonces como un canal de luminancia o acromatico; este se puede usar como esta, o es agudizado de preferencia usando un filtro de paso alto; normalmente esta separacion sera el negro; sin embargo, puede ser un color sustituto del negro, en particular si solo se hacen dos o tres separaciones; el detalle del objeto en las demas separaciones, es decir, separaciones de crominancia, es degradado, usualmente por un filtro de paso bajo tal como una mancha de Gauss; la imagen impresa formada cuando las separaciones se recombinan en forma convencional, es notablemente visualmente tolerante de registro defectuoso de los varios planos de tinta en la imagen.
